Follow our progress today on the RaceHero App as Jason Owens pilots the LS3-powered Exocet Sport at the Ultimate Track Car Challenge. We’re in Group B and are scheduled to run at 11:15am, 2:00pm, and 4:10pm.
Join Exomotive for this exciting event as we put another Exocet to the test against some of the fastest cars out there. Driver Jason Owens will be shredding the track at VIR as he has done so well at tracks all across the country behind the wheel of the Exocet. We’re hoping to best our previous PRs of the past, and hope to see you out there in the process! Schedules and pricing TBD, so keep checking back!
“Our annual, no-holds-barred track competition aims to find the fastest machines on four wheels. The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge presented by Grassroots Motorsports returns to Virginia International Raceway on May 19—once again becoming part of NASA’s HyperFest weekend. Bring your raucous, flame-belching beast to the track and see if you can best the competition.
The rules are simple: All your car needs to do is pass a NASA safety inspection. Run any tire and any suspension type; add seven turbos, superchargers, displacement, spinning triangles; mount it to a production-based chassis or tube frame; use chromoly, carbon fiber, Lexan—whatever your wrenching heart desires.
This is your chance to see how your car compares to the rest of the performance world. We host everything from low-buck builds and old-school rides to professional entries from the top tiers of motorsport. What’s faster: a Pirelli World Challenge car or a Trans Am titan? Let’s find out.
Own a performance shop with some stiff competition? Challenge them to duel it out here on track. Let’s see what your modifications can really do to lap times.
Have a classic racer? No problem. We have a Fastest Vintage award just for you. This is a rare chance to see just how your classic stacks up to a wide variety of more modern machines.
HyperFest is an extremely spectator-centric event. There is virtually no end of things to do and see. Spectator tickets will be available online and at the gate.”
“Road & Track” picked up our video and ran with it, dedicating an article to the final form of the Exocet Off-Road! We’re happy to say they sound pretty impressed with the platform! Check out the feature, here!
Join us for another great Georgia Tech Auto Show! Exomotive returns to its roots by visiting each year, and getting to show off the end product from multiple hard working alumni. The event will feature many exciting cars, food, merchandise, and a great atmosphere. We hope to see you there!
“The 14th Annual Georgia Tech Auto Show will be held Saturday, April 1st, 2017 on the Georgia Tech campus. Motor vehicles of all types owned by students, former students, faculty, staff, alumni, fans, and corporate sponsors of Georgia Tech will be on display. Classic antique cars, late model modified cars, 4×4 off road trucks, hot rods, cars modified with alternative power delivery (electric, fuel cell), daily-driven transportation, kit cars, race cars, concept cars, prototype cars, and all kinds of motorcycles are all encouraged to participate. Automobiles ranging from extremely rare classics in show condition to unfinished student-budget projects are welcome and appreciated. If the owner takes pride in the vehicle, it has a place in this show.”
