We have partnered with Jzilla Track Days\, to bring you an exciting day at Atlanta Motorsports Park. There will be ride alongs\, plenty of track time\, and most importantly\, EXOCETS! Park entry is free to spectators\, and we have secured a low price for Exocet owners who plan to track their builds. \n \nFor those of you joining the track day fun\, you’ll need to have an SA2005 or newer helmet with a 2017 AMP tech sticker (if you do not have the tech sticker\, Discovery Parts will be supplying them on site the morning of)\, car numbers\, your tech inspection form (found here)\, and closed toes shoes and pants.  \nThere are sound restrictions on track\, so make sure you are within the limits required ahead of time. “Atlanta Motorsports Park requires all vehicles’ exhaust at or under 98dB A-weighted measured 50 feet from the track edge at full throttle at the top of the RPM range. Exhaust turn downs or turn aways are not permitted. This is due to zoning regulations from the county. If you exceed this limit\, you will be required to correct it before going back out. Most street cars and race cars with mufflers should have no problem. If you are unsure\, use a meter or app on a smartphone to check your car out before hand. DESCRIPTION:The crew of Apex Auto Works is at it again in their LS powered “Apexocet” as they head to Mexico to race in the Chihuahua Express! Follow along as they tear across Mexico in one of the most grueling endurance races.  The Apex crew will rip through the streets of Mexico at full throttle\, battling it out with other competition in their unlimited class. How it works; \n“Competitors follow detailed directions in a route book and line up eight or more times a day to drive “speed stages.” The cars are started in one-minute intervals over highways closed to traffic by the Chihuahua state and city police. The fastest cars go first\, but passing is allowed. The length of the closed road or speed stage will normally be five to fifteen miles. Electronic timing is used. Road surfaces in northern Mexico are generally excellent. After each speed stage\, the competitors will drive a “transit section” to the next speed stage.” \nBe sure to follow along!

We are partnering with Just Track It\, to bring you an exciting\, yet laid back day\, at Atlanta Motorsports Park. There will be ride alongs\, plenty of track time\, and most importantly\, EXOCETS! Park entry is free to spectators\, and we are offering discounted event pricing to Exocet owners who plan to track their builds. \n \nFor those of you joining the track day fun\, you’ll need to have an SA2005 or newer helmet with a 2016 AMP tech sticker (if you do not have the tech sticker\, Discovery Parts will be supplying them on site the morning of)\, car numbers\, your tech inspection form (found here)\, and closed toes shoes and pants. Check out the full event schedule here! \nThere are sound restrictions on track\, so make sure you are within the limits required ahead of time. “Atlanta Motorsports Park requires all vehicles’ exhaust at or under 98dB A-weighted measured 50 feet from the track edge at full throttle at the top of the RPM range. Exhaust turn downs or turn aways are not permitted. This is due to zoning regulations from the county. If you exceed this limit\, you will be required to correct it before going back out. Most street cars and race cars with mufflers should have no problem. If you are unsure\, use a meter or app on a smartphone to check your car out before hand. It is your responsibility to make sure your car is compliant.” \nMotorSportMedia will be shooting the cars on track for the duration of the event. DESCRIPTION:Come see the Exomotive crew at the AMP Gymkhana! Gymkhana events are time and feature obstacles such as cones\, tires\, and barrels. The driver must maneuver through a predetermined “track” performing many different driving techniques. What separates the AMP Gymkhana Event from traditional gymkhana (autocross) events is that the our gymkhana requires drivers to perform 360 degree spins\, parking boxes\, and other advanced skills while driving through flowing water and water walls on the AMP Ice Hill.
