“Get an Exocet with sticky tires, head to track days and make Porsche guys feel butt-hurt. Then go home and pick the bugs from your nipples.” For more amazingly ridiculous quotes, check out the Road & Track feature on the Exocet, here!
Join hundreds of enthusiasts to celebrate another year with the beloved Miata! This event has only grown with each passing reunion, and we hope you can come out to meet other Exocet owners as well!
“Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a world-class track, and we’re very happy to give Miata drivers two full days to play on it. Everyone is welcome to drive, from complete novices to seasoned racers.
Any Miata is welcome to take part in the high speed track portion of the day, providing it meets all safety requirements. If you have a Miata-powered car or a car that is barely a member of the Miata species, just contact us to confirm.
The lunchtime parade laps are available to any participants. There is no special safety gear or technical requirements, although the parade laps will be restricted to Miatas only. Sorry, if you showed up in a rental minivan you won’t be on track.
Instructors will be available for anyone who wants one. Drivers will be split into five groups depending on experience to keep the intimidation and frustration levels low.”
K Miata is looking forward to the K20 Swap Jim is working on, we can’t wait to see it either!
“We took Jim, an Exocet owner, for a ride back in October in our demo car at Laguna Seca. Now the Exocet you see here is getting a high-revving K20 swap. For any class that requires 2.0L or less displacement, a K20 swap in a Miata or Exocet is tough to beat.”
