The MEVX5
The MEVX5 is a smart, rare and contemporary sports car based on the ubiquitous Mazda Miata. These donor cars are well known for their excellent handling, balance and reliability. They are also readily available now at low cost. With the early NA models now over 20 years old, the MEVX5 is the perfect solution to rejuvenate your Miata’s aging body panels.
With twelve different styles available, the MEVX5 gives builders many options to customize their own bespoke sports car. Three variants are available: the Convertible, Coupe and Superlight. Each variant also has two options for front grill styling and rear lighting. The Coupe and Convertible versions retain the vehicle’s identity and remain insured and registered as a Miata – great for builders who do not want to deal with custom vehicle registration. The Superlight features a custom tubular chassis underneath the stylish bodywork similar to the Exocet and is the lightest MEVX5 available. If you want a rare sports car that provides great value and stands out from the crowd, build the MEVX5.
