While we travelled back to Atlanta from SEMA over the weekend, another national-level show was being hosted across the Atlantic at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry: MotorSport UK.

MotorSport UK was established to break down the barriers for those considering entering the sport, or for those already involved but looking for their next challenge in national motorsport in the UK. With attendance all of the major players in the UK racing and kit car scene attending the show, popular UK channel Motors TV was in attendance to record a half hour show review. Of all the race and kit cars in UK, which do they choose to profile? MEV Owner Mabbs’ amazing Rocket build of course!

“There is no channel in the UK providing as much national level motorsports as we do, so supporting Motorsport UK was absolutely obvious from the beginning. We really like concept, and are delighted to have Gemma Scott and Neil Cole hosting our coverage. We are sure that our viewers will be excited to see highlights of the inaugural Motorsport UK event, further installing Motors TV UK as the channel for British motorsport and ensuring Motorsport UK fulfils its potential.” – Frederic Viger, Head of Programming & Acquisitions

“I am delighted that Motors TV is going to broadcast highlights from our first show, which further demonstrates the huge steps we have made in only our first year. I am also honored to have secured two of the best motorsport presenters in the business in Gemma Scott and Neil Cole to host our coverage.” – Motorsport UK’s organizer Martin Capenhurst

Overall, a great event for motorsports and another win for MEV vehicles. Be sure to dive into Mabbs’ build progress on the MEV Owners Forum and check out more info on the MotorSport UK show.
