Maximize power with LSx Long tube headers built by Kooks for V8 conversions on the NA/NB-based Exocet and Miata.

Made from 304 Stainless steel with 3/8″ thick flanges, with large 1-3/4″ primaries and a 3″ merge collector. Featuring O2 bungs welded into the collectors and a slip style collector for improved ground clearance.

Dyno results have shown around 20hp gains on a stock LS6 over the typical 1.5″ dimpled shorter primaries. The steering shaft will need to be removed for installation and like most long tube headers, our headers install from the bottom. We recommend loosening the engine and lifting it to aid in installation. Some may choose to loosen the subframe and suspended it for additional clearance. Each car will be different depending on the routing of other items in the engine bay, installers working area, etc. Use GM starter part number 88878289. The GTO and F-Body long style will not have clearance. The driver’s side is even with the subframe and the passenger’s side is a little lower. By routing them this way we were able to avoid notching the bell housing.

Optionally add Jet Hot Black Ceramic Coating to your headers. Headers will ship to Jet Hot first for coating and then on to you for installation. Please allow up to three weeks for coating service from Jet Hot.
